I'm a Miami University of Ohio college graduate, summa cum laude. I have always loved art, writing, history, psychology, and cultural/gender studies. I am attending graduate school at Case Western Reserve University funded (thank the Good and Gracious Lord :) ) on full tuition and stipend, for my Master's and eventually PhD in Art History, to teach it at the college level. My focus will incorporate Contemporary Art, American Art, gender roles, and the perception and treatment of children across cultures.



My Western Zodiac Sun Sign is Gemini (basically a restless wind). As suits that sign, I am a multitasker, I am dualistic/complex, I am guided by brain over feelings, I am talkative, I am a leader-type, I soak up any kind of new information like a sponge, and my personality is restless. LOL see? I'm already talking too much! XDDDD

My Kiersey Personality is INFJ (The Idealist).

My Totem is the Wolf (Protector).

Anyone who behaves respectfully and compassionately towards others is okay in my book, regardless of his/her background. I believe that each person that I meet is the result of a lifetime of formative experiences. My policy is to treat every human being with dignity, respect, and as much compassion as I can humanly offer. To realize that no individual view is ever more valid than another is a paramount rule. I am an optimist. I believe that happiness is a choice, not a circumstance. I believe that the single most important human compulsion is to ALWAYS HOPE. But I am not unrealistic. I am a very difficult person to hoodwink. I crave a peaceful environment, but if I am called to fight for something, I will accept the challenge and I will be tenacious. It is extremely difficult to persuade me, coerce me, or intimidate me. However, once I have been convinced of an idea or belief, I will remain faithful to it, while retaining open-mindedness to alternate viewpoints. There is nothing that I dislike more than false affection, jealousy, and cruelty towards others with the agenda of advancing one's own position. The right to choose what one does with oneself and one's life and career is a sacred one to me. I require constant intellectual stimulation. If I go even a day without finding something new and, preferrably, complicated, to occupy my mind and hands, I am unsatisfied.

I am a Type I diabetic, but I do not let it define me or stop me from reaching my goals. It has taught me empathy and compassion towards others who are chronically ill, although it has become more of a burden lately.
